Fewer, better pieces
POBXBX started with a simple frustration: it was easy to find cheap clothes and easy to find expensive clothes, but hard to find well-made clothes at a fair price.
We make a deliberately small collection. Twelve styles per season, produced in small runs with long-term partner workshops we visit in person. Nothing is designed for a trend cycle — everything is designed to still be in your wardrobe in five years.
What we mean by "made to last"
- Heavier fabrics. A 240 gsm organic cotton tee instead of a 160 gsm one. Extra-fine 19.5 micron merino instead of standard wool. Weight is what survives washing.
- Reinforced construction. Twin-needle hems, French seams on silk, corozo or mother-of-pearl buttons instead of plastic.
- Pre-shrunk and garment-dyed. So the garment you receive is the garment you keep.
- Repairable. Every order includes a spare-button card and a repair note. Send a damaged piece back within two years and we mend it free of charge.
Where things are made
Every piece is cut and sewn in small runs by long-term partner workshops, and we inspect production ourselves before anything ships. If you want the details for a specific style, write to [email protected] and we will tell you exactly where it was made.
Materials we use
Recycled wool and recycled cupro linings, GOTS-certified organic cotton, RWS-certified mulesing-free merino, vegetable-tanned Italian full-grain leather and recycled polyester crepe. We publish the fibre composition of every style on its product page, and we do not use virgin fur, exotic skins or angora.
Shipping and duties, in plain language
We ship worldwide from a warehouse in Dongguan. Orders to the EU, UK, US and Canada are sent DDP (delivered duties paid) — the price we confirm on WhatsApp is the final price, with no surprise customs invoice. Free standard shipping applies automatically over $100 (or the equivalent in EUR). Details are on the shipping page.
Returns without the friction
You have 30 days from delivery. Items must be unworn with tags attached. We email a prepaid label; refunds are issued to the original payment method within five business days of the parcel arriving back. Full terms are on the returns page.
